London based Children and Youth Worker, Linzi Golding, is an artist, a writer and author of several novels, including The Artist’s Warrior.
A professionally trained Primary School Teacher in the UK, Linzi has spent the last decade reading and writing fantasy fiction for children and youth. children she has worked with often referred to her as ‘Girl Peter Pan’ for her ability to humorously act like a child – most of the time!
Linzi has been an avid reader and writer for as long as she can remember. as a child and teenager she won prizes for her stories and poetry and had a play script acted out by a local theatre when she was 13 years old!
Linzi was diagnosed with Autism at age 31 years, and even though food is one of her favourite things in life, her obsession with reading and writing can often cause her to accidentally skip meals losing track of time and reality.
Linzi was Short Listed for the Mind Member Short Story Competition 2019.
Linzi is a hobbyist photographer and enjoys going on long walks capturing wildlife shots. Her favourites can be found in her Instagram feed.
Linzi is a proud supporter of Rukungiri Orphan Partnership, which sponsors children in Uganda to be able to attend school.
Linzi enjoys visiting Uganda every year, and hopes to live there in the not too distant future. It’s where her heart belongs.
